Crystal Clouds Recordings: “To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Crystalclouds.com, friends and colleagues Jerom and Arjan Immerzeel teamed up again to create a new anthem for this special occasion. As long time members, they decided to produce the 2013 Crystal Clouds Anthem ‘Science Deal vs. Jerom – Decade’ as a gift and tribute to trance and this superb community.

In the ‘Original Mix’ they tried to capture 10 years of uplifting trance influences, which resulted in a stormer that you are used to hear from these guys. Good beats, steady rolling basslines, melodic riffs and a brutal lead synth after the break give you a nice impression of what different feelings and styles were presented to us all in these 10 years of trance.

They also made an ‘Emotional Mix’ of this track, to reflect the uplifting, euphoric and emotional side of trance that they both love very dearly. Slightly lower in tempo, with pumping basslines, melodic riffs and a high note lead synth that guide you into the breakdown, with an emotional strings approach of the original melody, almost classical music like. True emotional trance.

Thirdly, to make this release complete, they produced a ‘Progressive Mix’. Of course this style also has a lot of influence for trance in general. Calm but steady beats and basslines accompanied by dreamy melodic riffs and strings. And from the breakdown on, there is also an ear tearing lead synth to make the progressive trance feeling complete.”
